Hello everyone, and welcome to the first Watchmen kinkmeme unfilled prompt challenge/contest! Contest will run from Sunday, November 08 until Sunday, November 15. The rules are simple:

-Whoever fills the most prompts will win two months paid LJ time, as well as a nifty graphic to put in their userinfo or what have you.
-In order for fills to be counted, they must be linked in a comment to this entry. Please include a link to the prompt and to your fill, if they are in different threads.
-All fills must be at least 500 words to qualify, and please put some effort into them. I really don't think this will be an issue at all and goes without saying, but...I'm saying it anyway just in case. XD
-Again, the cutoff for fills will be 11:59 pm, Sunday, November 15.

A few notes:
-I do realize that there are a few people in the fandom who do not use their personal journals, in which case we can work out an alternative prize. I think we can save worrying about that 'til we see who wins, yes?
-There may also be prizes (at least graphics) for second and third place, as well as oldest prompt written. If anyone has any ideas for other fun categories, I'm completely open to suggestions. :D

-Berlin AU. Dan is a disillusioned member of the party who longs to go to the west. Walter Kovacs is a border guard on the west side of the wall.
-Rorschach is a buttaface. Not to worry though, because Dan of All Kinks has a thing for buttafaces.
-Rorschach sings "Danny Boy" and means it.
-Rorschach sleepwalking.

-Post-Roche Ror partners with the Comedian instead of Dan for some reason. Patrol goes REALLY FUCKING WRONG and ends up with the Comedian having to drag Rorschach's dead body back to Dan and explain what the hell happened.
-Rorschach accidentally drops his journal at Dan's. Dan picks it up and an “owl always love you” bookmark falls out.
-Rorschach is investigating a creepy building that turns out to be host to cloning experiemnts. Finds a Dan clone he believes to be his Dan. Is seduced by said clone.
-Post-Keene, Dan misses Rorschach’s smell.
-Dan sad but understanding about Rorschachis issues. Established relationship with very, very limited physical intimacy.
-Dan's investigating a series of crimes where the evidence is leading towards this suspicious red-headed transient who seems to be deeply embedded in the case.
-The scent of dirt, grime, sweat, and blood turn Dan on.
-Catholic!Walter and Jewish!Daniel meet and fall in love, only to realize upon introduction that their two religions don't exactly mesh.
-Rorschach gets kicked in the balls. If not by Dan, he should probably be having sympathy pains. Leads to an awkward conversation about Rorschach's crotch.

I'm starting to rethink the Rorschach costume. Something about a fat Ror just...doesn't seem right. At all. XD Plus last time I wore a trench I looked absolutely ridiculous. Of course that one was bright fucking yellow and thrown together the night before. (It was "superhero day" when I was in, like, ninth grade. I was insistent on going as an X-Men character and wasn't about to wear spandex, so...hello, Jubilee! I wound up being one of like, three people to actually dress up. Yeah, I was THAT kid in high school. XD)

Uh. I almost think I could pull off Nite Owl? A very, very fat Nite Owl. But I hate the GN costume which means I would drive myself absolutely insane making the movie version. Which...honestly sounds kinda fun. XD Hmmm.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea. XD (And YES, Nicole, I can hear you calling me a nerd all the way from Arizona. XD)

In other news I'm surprisingly awake for someone who managed to grab all of two hours sleep max last night, especially as most of that was one long string o' weird. :/ (I still wish I could remember more of it. Might've made for an interesting plotbunny. I just remember it being very bloody. And wandering around/hiding in a semi-abandoned mall-like area?) Ah well. Hopefully means I'll be able to get some decent sleep tonight. Need to get some hardcore job-hunting done tomorrow. Really hoping (and I cannot believe I am about to say this) that Toys R Us calls me back. Bleh, scary thought, but...need. Job.

Anyway. Debating if I feel like heading to the Landing. I don't really feel like walking today. Laaaazyyyyyy. :P In a random crafting mood but don't have much in the way of supplies, so probably ought to write. Keep checking the kinkmeme "just to see if anything's updated" and finding new prompts I want to do. Damnit, Estella, if you're going to perk up at the slightest suggestion of a bunny, you could at least stick around long enough for me to actually write the damn things! I found the rest of my WIPs, so I thought I would do an addendum. A few of these have been semi-abandoned, but I still have them laying about, so there is a vague thought of finishing them.

17. Christmas carols blared tinnily over the PA system as Johnny moved swiftly through the mall, slipping easily through the throngs of people, most of whom seemed to be either meandering aimlessly or running about like chickens with their heads cut off -- a metaphor which Nny could have made much more visceral, had he the inclination. He noted that the current song, a version of Pachabel's Canon in D done with electric guitars, actually wasn't too bad. Unfortunately it had been done the disservice of being played through cheap speakers over the plastic paradise of the shopping center.

18. "Notice what, Chloe?"

"How weird they were acting."

"Are you sure you're not just programmed to find the weird in any situation?"

"No, not like, Wall of Weird, more like awkward weird. Like, first date weird."

19. An empty apartment could do strange things to a guy.

At least, that was Mark's theory, because how else was he going to explain the fact that after years of sharing the place with Roger, three months apart had them suddenly fumbling around, bumping into each other in the halls -- and they didn't even have halls, as Joanne pointed out when he mentioned it.

24. Not that it wasn't pretty and all. It was just that he no longer knew what the hell he was doing. Everything he had known was gone. Houses. Cars. Domino's, for Christ's sake. It had been...well, he wasn't exactly sure how long it had been, as he no longer had any sort of reliable timepiece. Weeks, at least, he guessed, and he still had yet to adapt. Which apparently meant that he was just a natural outcast, even here, in a world overtaken by nature.

25. "Exactly $1.32," Benji said, finishing counting up the change he and his brother had pulled from their pockets.

Joel grinned at him. "Wow, we're rich."

26. "Wondering what?"

"How...you're doing?" he finished lamely. Somehow Joel suspected he knew exactly what he meant.

"Doing just fine," he replied. "Excellent, you might say."

"I knew it!" Benji exclaimed. "You already cheated!"

27. "What?" the guitarist said, forcing an innocent look onto his face. Jon coould tell he was trying not to laugh. "The kids wanted to do it --"

"You encouraged them!"

"-- and besides, you look so cute in a tutu."

28. "C'mon," Frank cajoles, beginning to get onto a roll. Every so often he can't resist giving Gerard a little good-natured shit about his phobia. "It doesn't hurt that much, honest. I'd hold your hand." He gives Gerard's fingers a firm squeeze for emphasis.

"Yeah? And what would I get? 'Property of Frank Iero'?"

29. Both of Zaphod's heads blinked. Jim, apparently having come to his senses of his own accord, was now staring at him with eager and lustful eyes. Zaphod blinked at him a bit more, found it did very little good, and stopped. He eyed the kid suspiciously. He was, apparently, serious.

30. "Okay," she lied, forcing a smile in return and handing her keys to the waiting robot gladly. She'd never really liked driving Zaphod's cruiser. The robot sped off to park the car as Trillian entered the building. She stepped into one of the four elevators, which, cruelly, she'd always thought, were Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Happy Vertical People Transporters. She ignored the lift's prattle and quickly exited at the fourth floor.

31. Sirius, he thought, would have come up with something to do. No doubt it would have been something ridiculous, possibly even bordering on criminal. And of course Remus would have gone along with it. The problem was, once he'd had that thought, it invited countless other thoughts and memories of Sirius to haunt him, the way he sometimes wished his old lover would. They lurked behind the furniture, hid in shadowy corners, snuck up on him as he retraced his steps over and over in the tiny apartment.

32. "I still say you're crazy," Luna says by way of greeting, but she is smiling.

"What?" Ginny replies, mock-defensively. "It's a beautiful day out there."

"Mm," Luna says. "Beautiful." She is not looking out the window.

33. Second chances are an odd thing. Often deserved, they nonetheless rarely seem to turn out quite as expected. Take, for example, the reconstruction of a relationship. Both parties genuinely sorry, repentant for their past wrongs. Both willing to overlook, to try again.

The thing is, sometimes trying isn't enough.

My only two comments: a. this is making me realize how much my writing truly sucks and b. one of these clips includes the run-on from hell that I was bitching about on Twitter the other day; feel free to try and spot it. Agh, also have just discovered in trying to locate all my WIPs that several of my files are corrupted. HOW FUN. *Sporks technology* Thankfully it's nothing that was very far along, and it's only a handful of fics.

1. "Don't worry about it," Jon replied. Richie would have questioned him further, but now that Jon was back, he felt sleep sucking at him again. He wrapped his arms around Jon, who slid down into his embrace. As Richie quickly drifted off, Jon lay perfectly still, staring up at the cieling, a small smile twisting his lips. As a cloud drifted over the moon, his eyes flashed red once more.

2. Harry awoke with a smile on his lips, despite the fact that he had gotten less than two hours of sleep. After all, what he had been doing all night was well worth missing some sleep for. He closed his eyes, reenacting the events of the night in his mind.

“Harry? Harry! HARRY!” A sneaker came crashing through the hangings on his bed, interrupting his daydream.

3. "Ow," he muttered, not entirely sure that this was an unpleasant feeling right now. After a moment, he got back out of the car and popped the hood. As expected, he had no clue what was wrong with it. There was probably water in the carburetor or something. Slamming the hood shut, he walked over to the pay phone, picked it up, and put it back down. Who was he going to call? Tow trucks, and car repairs for that matter, cost money. Which he lacked.

4. As for the rest of the X-Men, they had made it through the ridiculously long line at Starbucks, paid for their overpriced, under quality quaffee, and were now sitting around a few of those tiny Starbucks tables, which they had pulled together. They began to notice that they were attracting some strange looks.

“How come everybody’s looking at me?” Gambit whispered to Rogue.

“It might have something to do with the fact that ya have no clothes on, sugah.”

5. At first Harry’s dreams were pleasant: escape from this hell on earth was a common one, but there were also dreams of his times with his friends at Hogwarts, and afterwards. But soon the old nightmares returned, too: flashes of green light, and screaming-screaming…But now there was another sound. A soft sobbing, in the background, so quiet he wasn’t even sure he had really heard it. But yes-there it was-someone was crying.

6. He was grinning but the look in his eyes was serious. Robby's head cleared a little. He thought about what would come next, and the realization that it was actually going to happen filled him with desire and also an incredible sense of nervousness. Yes, this was what he had wanted, but honestly, he had never expected it to go this far. Jon continued to watch him, waiting for an answer before he continued, and Robby realized he could stop it all now if he wanted to.

And what? Go back to your room, jerk off, and imagine what it would have been like?

7. It was not until after dinner that he got an opportunity to speak to Harry. He left the table early, making an excuse about having homework to finish Crabbe and Goyle bought this easily enough – no doubt thrilled, as it left more food for them – and he waited in the entrance hall. Predictably enough, Potter came in only minutes later, wrapped his arms around Draco from behind, and murmured against his neck, “Hey, you.”

8. "Um..." He didn't really know what to say. What came to mind was that if Alex was going to lose it, they were screwed. Thinking this might not be the best thing to say out loud just now, he settled for a fairly lame, "It's okay. Everything's going to be, um, fine." Comforting was never exactly his specialty and the words sounded hollow to him, but Alex laughed shakily, dropping his hand as though he had just realized it was still resting on George's shoulder.

9. Chris blinked sleepily at the computer screen. A glance at the clock informed him that it was past two in the morning. He was tired, not to mention bored, yet he felt no desire to go to bed. He clicked idly to his empty email inbox in the hopes that something interesting might have come through in the approximately two minutes since he’d checked in last, scanned through the news headlines and found nothing worth devoting more than a few seconds’ attention to, and sighed.

10. Finally Filch’s rant ended and he began shuffling around papers on his desk, no doubt looking for one of his ridiculous punishment forms, Harry thought. Apparently, he didn’t find it, because he got up and went for the door. He ordered the boys to stay where they were and locked the door behind him to make sure they obeyed. They sat in silence for a moment and Harry watched Malfoy, who still looked slightly…panicked. Finally he had to say something.

“He wasn’t serious, you know. About chaining us up and all.”

“I know that,” Malfoy snapped, and Harry shut up. Apparently trying to be nice would get him nowhere. He should have known…

“Are you sure?” The uncertain words broke into his thoughts and took a moment to register.

11. When Walter finally releases his hand, Dan immediately straddles him, letting his erection press against Walter's stomach, and feels an answering hardness below him. He rocks forward, drawing a gasp and a whine from Walter, then lowers his head to nip at the smaller man's neck, before running his tongue over the spot, soothing. He alternates between biting and sucking hard enough to draw blood to the surface, so that he knows Walter's neck will be a map of bruises tomorrow, knows he will refuse to leave the house scarfless for days, and gently tonguing the blooming marks, his hips jerking slightly of their own accord, Walter's hands scrabbling at his back.

12. He sees her looking, jerks his head at the seat next to him. “Get in.” She pauses. Logically, she knows that it’s probably a very bad idea. She eyes the joint, and the three of them. Maybe she can get one of their numbers. Shoving down the little voice in her head that’s screaming to run the other direction, she climbs in the backseat.

13. Sex with Rorschach, on the other hand, is -- well, still pretty great, now that they sort of know what they're doing, which in Dan's case means a slightly more vigorous application of lube and in Rorschach's a slightly less vigorous application of teeth. And yeah, it's weird, too, because well, it's Rorschach. No matter how many times Dan might have imagined sex with him, he'd never thought it would actually happen. At first the realization that it had had been amazing, and Dan had thought he couldn't be happier.

This had turned out to be a mistaken assumption.

14. Muttering, Chris slaps at the alarm clock. It takes a few tries at aimlessly crushing his hand down on the innocent piece of machinery before he actually hits the right button and the god-awful beeping stops. Still grumbling to himself, he rolls out of bed, runs a hand through his hair, and stomps toward the shower, hoping that will wake him up a bit, improve his mood.

The shower accomplishes the former but not the latter, with the result that he’s now fully awake and aware of exactly how irritable he is.

15. "Nice," he grinned as he rung out Xander's Slurpee and Ho-Hos. Xander hadn't thought it was possible for his face to go any redder, and it turned out he was right -- the shade it was flushing now was actually bordering on purple. He muttered something that may or may not have contained actual words, paid for his purchases, and dashed out the door in total humiliation.

16. The second time it happens, Jeff is staying in a penthouse suite... Chris drops in on him, takes one look at the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, raises an eyebrow, and...it's inevitable really. Jeff takes him hard, up against the windows, and Chris shivers less from the cold glass at his back, more from the dark look in his partner's eye, the chuckle that does not sound entirely like Jeff's.

The third time, Chris invites him over to see the new pool table he has just bought. He will later insist that the purchase had nothing to do with him, and Jeff will not believe him for a second.
